Leeds 10k 2008 raises over £50,000
Leeds 10k ‘Run For All’ 2008 - Over 11,200 runners!
Yorkshire Cancer Centre was proudly represented on 22nd June as 400+
plucky runners of all abilities took to the streets of Leeds in support of Yorkshire Cancer Centre. Patients, their families and friends participated in the second Leeds 10k which was initiated by Jane Tomlinson in 2007.
Hospital staff members were also flying the flag for the new cancer wing to help boost funds for our £10m Appeal. We hope that our heroic YCC team will raise in excess of £50k again this year.
Huge thanks to all who ran or walked the course – good luck with your sponsorship. Thanks also to those who came along to offer support by either marshalling or volunteering in some way and of course to those who came to cheer along our gallant runners throughout the 10k course
